Here's a video that anyone living in a port community should see. This is definitely a must-see for those who still think Deltaport won't have any effect on them.

Have you seen the video Clearing the Air, on California Connected. (go into the Search by Topic "Environment" & then click on Clearing the Air--its about 10 minutes or so).
Some comments from the video:
People living near the L.A. Ports are "subsidising the price of tennis shoes with their lives". 1,200 a year die from soot and smog--living in a diesel death zone, etc.

Damien Gillis's new video on the South Fraser Perimeter Road.

This video deals with the community and environmental impacts on Delta by the road. He Interviewed two pioneers of the community--Hazel Norum and Sig Iverson, residents since 1937 and 1926 respectively--who are being uprooted or significantly impacted by the SFPR.
